The Five-Paragraph Essay Worksheet

Introduction:

Hook: Assisted Suicide is important.

Connect Hook:
Euthanasia or assisted suicide is important to someone if they want it especially David and what happened to him.

Relevant plot info:
Euthanasia is a good thing to someone that is suffering from pain and should be legal everywhere. Euthanasia is a person being killed by an assisted suicide, because they are in pain or suffering from an illness and will die in couple of months anyway.

Thesis:
How Euthanasia is important to people and why should be legal.

Body:

1. Why Euthanasia helps people and how it affected David.
“Best not to move… If only I felt some pain.”
David did not feel pain, which told him he would not be able to move is body. He would never be able to move his body again and would need to live with a head.
In this case David chose Euthanasia of the reason he would live in a chair and would be only able to live with a head.
“Bob, I want to go over!”
People like David if there in major pain or going to live a bad life with only a head. That person such as what happened to David would want to die. If they would like to die since they know there going to probably die in the future or going to live in a wheelchair for the rest of their life they should be able to have an assisted suicide.
Euthanasia was helpful to David and helps others and everyone should know it is good.

2. Why Euthanasia should be allowed by the government.
“I said that he fell straight to the ice where they found him.”
Bob had to lie to about what he did to David, because it is a legal. Even though it was a legal Bob did an assisted suicide anyway, because David fell on the ice and was never going to do what he loved to do again. David said to Bob that he would do the same for him and it made him realize he had to do it even though the government made it illegal even though it should be legal.
"For Christ's sake push me over! If I could move . . . or die . . ."
David said to Bob that he really wanted to die, because he did not want to live in the state he was now. If a person like David either is in pain or has a condition they did not have before and majorly wants to die they should be allowed and it should be legal all around the world. Of what David said he wanted to have two options die or be able to move with a cure that can make him out of a paralyzed form. If this legal and if this happened to many people in the government that wanted Euthanasia it would be legal, but it is not since they do not know why it should be allowed and the fact that it did not happen to them. Many people would like Euthanasia, but they are not allowed the fact that it is illegal so many people would do it if it was legal and it would bring lots of peace to them and it would make them happy that they do not need to live with the pain or their condition.

3. How Euthanasia could save money and the equipment in a hospital could be used for another patient.
"Perhaps . . . For what? A wheelchair, Bob?"
Many people would like Euthanasia to happen to them, but most of the time it is in a hospital. Many of people that are in pain have equipment attached to them that takes up money. David was not in the hospital, but if he was going to stay alive he would need a wheel chair that would take up money and he would, need help everywhere he goes such as a caretaker. Since this not legal equipment has to be used on the same patient that is probably in pain and is going to die anyway in the next few months. The hospitals would use less money if this was legal and could use the equipment to help another patient instead of using it for a person that is in pain and has to chance of making it.
"The bleeding will stop. You can last."
David probably could of lasted, and the bleeding hopefully would of stopped, but he would have had to go to the hospital anyway for a bit and then put in a wheelchair the rest of his life, which would not make him happy and would ruin his life. It would ruin his life for the fact that he could not do anything he loves to do outdoors and he would need to have a caretaker that costs money, which is not needed if he just passes away, and he would hopefully be at peace.

Conclusion:
Euthanasia should be legal and it is important to people if they are in major pain or if there going to not enjoy their life. This Essay was to tell people why Euthanasia should be legal and how it can be important to a person that would want it badly. All the reasons that Euthanasia being illegal is not a good thing and it should be changed by the government.
