Like the Rain Presentation Write Up Of The Meaning Of The Song

Like the Rain Presentation Of the Meaning of the Song

We think the song is about a man falling in love with a women in the storm while it raining and thundering. He falls for her just like the rain fell on them at the time. We think the idea of relationships can experience or have times like a storm, with rain, which is the love in the relationship. There love wants to be in a magical place where they can be alone.
I never liked the rain until I walked through it with you.
The line in the poem represents the writer in a way that he never liked
the rain until he went through it with someone probably someone he had a crush on, which lightened the rain. You can picture him walking through the rain with another person, which is an example of imagery.
Every thunder cloud that came was one more I might not get through.
The writer was in a storm and knew he was not going to survive if the thunder cloud would not go away. You can picture a thunder cloud in your mind with rain, which is an example of imagery.
On the darkest day there's always light and now I see it too
It explains that he see’s moonlight even though there is a big storm. The darkest day is a form of alliteration since it follow’s two D’s at the beginning of two words that come after each other.
I hear it falling in the night and filling up my mind.
He see’s that rain is falling on him during the night.
All the heaven's rivers come to light and I see it all unwind.
He can see that all the star’s are coming out, that the clouds are going away and heaven’s rivers is an exaggeration since heaven is a peaceful area that does not involve water.
I hear it talking through the trees and on the window pane.
It describes how the writer could hear the rain talk and while it is pelting on the window pane. Tree’s cannot talk so that would a example of personification and alliteration since talking through the tree’s all begin with a T.
When I hear it I just can't believe I never liked the rain.
He could not believe after he heard the beautiful rain coming that the writer said he never liked the rain.
Like the rain I have fallen for you and I know just why you.
The rain was comparing to love of how he likes this lady and that he has fallen for her comparing how the rain falls on him.
Liked the rain always calling for you I'm falling for you now.
The rain always falls on you and call’s for you just how he is falling for her. The rain cannot call people so it is an example of personification.
It compares rain to how much he likes her.
When the cloud is rolling over thunder striking me.
In the storm while thunder strikes his ear’s, the love strikes him since he fall’s for this women.
It's as bright as lightning and I wonder why I couldn't see.
His eyes was flashed by light and flashed by love, because of the women with him in the storm. Bright as lighting is comparison and a consonance of the ght in the two words that the writer is using for the storm.
That it's always good and when the flood is gone we still remain.
He could see that they would finally be alone in the storm since everyone is leaving to get in doors.
Guess I've known all along I just belong here with you falling.
He thinks it was meant to be that him and her are there at that spot falling in love with spark’s flying. All along could be an example of alliteration from the repeating A in the begin on both words.
And when the night falls on our better days.
He hopes for the night to fall another time when it is not stormy and raining so he can take her up into the sky. When the night fall’s it cannot fall so it would be an exaggeration that the writer is using.
And we're looking to the sky.
He is looking with her to the sky waiting to flying away with her.
For the winds to take us high above the plains.
His hopes are to be flying in the clouds with this women that he loves by the winds that carries them over plains in the nice dark sky with all the stars out. The night falls is an exaggeration of what the writer is thinking and also that he wants it to happen.
I know that we'll find better ways to look into the eye of the storms that will be calling.
He know’s that there has to be more ways to look into the storms that will be calling so they can remember how they fell in love. Storms cannot call so he is giving storms a human characteristic, which personification.
Forever they will be falling.
They will always be falling in love while being in a storm with rain falling on them exactly how they are falling for each other.

Like The Rain Lyrics and Song By Clint Black

"Like The Rain"

I never liked the rain until I walked through it with you
Every thunder cloud that came was one more I might not get through
On the darkest day there's always light and now I see it too
But I never liked the rain until I walked through it with you
I hear it falling in the night and filling up my mind
All the heaven's rivers come to light and I see it all unwind
I hear it talking through the trees and on the window pane
when I hear it I just can't believe I never liked the rain

Like the rain I have fallen for you and I know just why you
Liked the rain always calling for you I'm falling for you now
Just like the rain

When the cloud is rolling over thunder striking me
It's as bright as lightning and I wonder why I couldn't see
That it's always good and when the flood is gone we still remain
Guess I've known all along I just belong here with you falling

Like the rain I have fallen for you and I know just why you
Liked the rain always calling for you, I'm falling for you now
Just like the rain I have fallen for you
I'm falling for you now just like the rain

And when the night falls on our better days
And we're looking to the sky
For the winds to take us high above the plains
I know that we'll find better ways to look into the eye
of the storms that will be calling
Forever we'll be falling

Like the rain I have fallen for you, and I know just why you
Like the rain always calling for you, I'm falling for you now just
Like the rain I have fallen for you and I know just why you
Like the rain always calling for you, I'm falling for you now just
Like the rain
Like the rain
Like the rain
Like the rain

Poetry Slam On Gamers Script

Poetry Slam On Gamers

I am a gamer
Who anticipates the next move
They say I am competitive and stay up all night
Games are violent so they think I am too

Since I am on my console
People think I am lazy and fat
I am treated like a nerd, because
I am a pro at games
And who’s to say it is only boys who play

I am a gamer
Who goes for the objective
Most competitive people are athletes
Are gamers athletes with their thumbs
Night Owls take many forms not just gamers
Violent people are not always influenced by games

People that don’t do anything makes them lazy and fat
You don’t have to be smart to be a gamer
You just want to be a pro, but not everyone is a pro
Anybody at any age can be a gamer
And enjoy the tactics and survival of the game!
